If you’re going to do it, do it properly.
What beginners waste on puzzle searching is not GPU time. It is the weeks spent running the wrong tool. And what loses people the prize when they finally find one is not skill — it is the withdrawal. These tools sit on both of those points.
Whether a known entropy failure affects the wallet you use
keyhunt, BitCrack and Kangaroo commands for a given puzzle
Success probability and expected value for your hardware
Inspect a signed transaction and submit it through a safe route
How many inputs to batch when your hardware wallet can't sign
If the device is showing an error, or a signature won’t go through, work out what the problem is before picking a tool. The wording tells you which cause you have.
Signing and calculation both happen here, and no private key goes anywhere. The withdrawal tool will submit a finished transaction on your behalf, but the dangerous route is simply not offered — for a puzzle whose public key is not yet exposed, the public broadcast button does not appear at all. Only the private submission path opens.
How to check that is written up as well.
Before searching, look at the expected value in the calculator. Under most conditions the electricity costs more than the prize. If you want to go ahead anyway, pick your tool with the command builder, and finish a full rehearsal in the withdrawal tool before you find anything. The point is never to do it for the first time when it counts.
